Emily Anthony is in her first season as coach of the U9 Girls' Comets, but soccer has always played a large role in her life. After playing 4 years of soccer at Queen Anne’s County High School, Emily went on to play 4 more years at the University of Mount Olive in eastern North Carolina. Emily was given the Coach’s Award two seasons in a row, and named team captain her senior year. A lifelong resident of Centreville, she returned home after college to complete her graduate studies. Emily works as a clinical social worker for the Kent County Health Department. In her free time Emily continues to play semi-competitive outdoor leagues in Anne Arundel County and indoor leagues on Kent Island. Emily is thrilled to join the Bayshore family as she looks to pass on her love of the game and competition to the next generation of female athletes.
