Barry Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald joins Bayshore SC having spent three years as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the men's soccer team of his alma mater, Misericordia University.  Fitzgerald was a three-year starting goalkeeper for the Misericordia University Cougars before missing his senior season due to a knee injury.

Fitzgerald was a two-time first team All-MAC Freedom selection and was the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore.  He shares the school single-season record for GAA (0.74) and holds the school career mark (0.89), all of which helped the Cougars to a MAC Freedeom title, an ECAC South Championship and two trips to the NCAA Tournament.

Fitzgerald is an Assistant Coach (Goalkeepers) for the Washington College Mens’ Soccer Team and spends his days as an Academic Counselor and Recruiter of the same college. Bayshore SC welcomed Fitzgerald to the club in the Spring of 2018 when he took the 2007 Rowdies to a first place finish. Fitzgerald continues with the club as head coach of the 2006 Lightning and is also available as a one-on-one trainer and goalkeeper trainer.
